13th Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute

The 13th Annual Patent Law Institute will be held March 1-2, 2018 at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. The event will cover topics on the latest developments in patent law, including an in-depth discussion on the global patent landscape, developments in prosecuting design patents, and PTAB practice tips.

Director Rob Sterne will moderate a panel on The Global Patent Landscape, which will consider current issues around patenting, licensing, enforcing, and monetizing patents in the U.S., and look at what the EU, China, and the UK are experiencing and their impact on U.S. patent environment.

Additionally, Eldora Ellison, Ph.D., will discuss her experiences from real PTAB cases on what works most effectively in practicing before the board and other practice tips.
