2018 IEEE Global Blockchain Summit

Directors Jon E. Wright and Monica Riva Talley and associate Richard M. Bemben were speakers at the 2018 IEEE Global Blockchain Summit held at the NIST Gaithersburg Campus in Maryland. Jon was a panelist on the “The Pulse of the Blockchain Industry” session and he presented with Monica and Richard during their afternoon session titled, “Protecting Innovation in Blockchain Technology.”

The summit brought together thought leaders, decision makers, and technologists to discuss the challenges and opportunities of blockchain technology. Attendees from academia, government, and industry presented on various topics including the current technology landscape, applications, use cases, policy, and regulations to help instill providence tracking functionality into vital internet applications reliant on trusted immutable data.
