Evolving Landscape in PRC’s Patent Law and Enforcement

Director Robert Greene Sterne will moderate the panel “Evolving Landscape in PRC’s Patent Law and Enforcement” at the 17th Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 4:40 p.m. ET/3:40 p.m. CT. The Advanced Patent Law Institute is co-hosted by the University of Texas School of Law and The George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School.

The panel will highlight new patent law amendments in China (effective in June 2021), directions by the supreme people’s court to begin shifting the burden of proof in certain patent enforcement in the jurisdiction lacking discovery, and the impact of patent linkage (similar to the Hatch-Waxman Act).
