Design as a discipline is fast developing and has become a core part of many businesses. But, big statutory and judicial changes in design law are relatively rare. Design protection regimes lag behind the reality of design in both practical and legal ways. This session will cover ways to use the current system better and how design protection can improve in the future, to protect and promote the next generation of design innovation.
