Therapeutic Antibody Patents in the United States: Complete Conception, Enablement, and Written Description of the Invention

Director Jorge Goldstein, Ph.D., will be a guest lecturer at Seoul National University Medical School on November 20, 2024 (November 21, 2024, Korea Time).

Jorge’s lecture titled, “Therapeutic Antibody Patents in the United States: Complete Conception, Enablement, and Written Description of the Invention,” will focus on the difficult task of obtaining and defending antibody genus claims. His lecture will be based partly on relevant portions of his book, US Biotechnology Patent Law (9^th edition, 2024), which has now been translated into Korean. Other portions of the lecture will be based on his recently published paper, ”Solutions to the Problem of Therapeutic Antibody Genus Claims,” 52 AIPLA QJ 513 (Summer 2024).
