“Deere & Co. won $13 million as a federal jury found some Caterpillar Inc. machines infringe five patents for road-milling technology after a trial in a case pending for nearly seven years. Jurors also rejected Caterpillar’s arguments for invalidating three of the patents, according to a verdict issued Feb. 22 and docketed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. The trial was held in Philadelphia, where Judge Joshua D. Wolson was sitting by designation from the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.”
Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox teamed with Nashville-based Patterson IP Law Group to secure the win.
