Directors Monica Riva Talley and Tracy-Gene G. Durkin Recognized Among the World’s Leading Trademark Lawyers

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 20, 2018) – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is pleased to announce that Monica Riva Talley and Tracy-Gene G. Durkin were named among “The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals” by World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR) 2018. This marks the seventh consecutive year Talley has been recognized by the publication, and it is the fifth consecutive year for Durkin.

The WTR 1000 reports that Talley, head of the firm’s Trademark, Advertising, and Anti-Counterfeiting Practice, is “knowledgeable, trustworthy and efficient,” and that she “knows what good client service means.” Further, the editor’s note, Talley’s “excellent work spans the gamut” and she “understands how to cut to the important issues at hand, rather than dwelling on less salient aspects of the problem.” Durkin, who heads the firm’s Mechanical and Design Patent Group, is lauded for operating “at the vanguard of design patent law” and having “an affinity for matters at the intersection of trademarks, trade dress and design protection.”
