Founding Directors Robert G. Sterne and Jorge A. Goldstein Recognized in the 25th Edition of Best Lawyers in America

Goldstein, Ph.D. have been recognized individually in the 25th edition of Best Lawyers in America. This is Mr. Sterne’s fourteenth consecutive year of being recognized by Best Lawyers in America, and Dr. Goldstein’s eleventh straight year.

Mr. Sterne was nominated by peers for his outstanding achievements in the category of litigation-patent. Selected by his peers as among the best in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences practice, litigation-patent, and patent law, Dr. Goldstein has also garnered several recent awards and achievements. In 2018, Dr. Goldstein was recognized by Chambers & Partners USA as Senior Statesperson for USA – Nationwide, Life Sciences: IP/Patent Litigation, as well as Senior Statesperson for District of Columbia, Intellectual Property: Patent Prosecution.

Also of note, in 2017, LMG Life Sciences inducted Dr. Goldstein into their Hall of Fame in recognition of his pioneering career as an IP attorney focused on life sciences. Additionally, Dr. Goldstein chairs the firm’s IP and Human Rights Pro Bono Practice which won the 2015 Financial Times’ Most Innovative North American Lawyers award in the “Innovation in a Social Responsibility Project” category. Mr. Sterne was also recognized as one of FT’s “Top 10 Innovative Lawyers in North America.”

Both Mr. Sterne and Dr. Goldstein, in 2014 and 2016, respectively, have been recognized by the National Law Journal in their “IP Trailblazer and Pioneer” series.
