Robert Greene Sterne, a director in the firm’s Litigation Group, was quoted in Intellectual Asset Management’s article “With the Patent Golden Age Long Gone Key US Market Players Gets to Grips with a Very Different Reality,” discussing the upcoming Annual Sedona Conference on Patent Litigation. Sterne, who serves as co-chair of the conference, commented on his thoughts on how the reformation of patent issuance could affect the conference.
“Patent owners now face a very difficult and uncertain environment,” said Sterne. “The reality is that it has become incredibly expensive and time-consuming for a patent owner to assert a patent.”
Sterne further commented on the strengths of the conference. “What distinguishes this conference is that it’s a conversation,” he said.
