Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is proud to have partnered with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center to present the free Intellectual Property Legal Clinic for Small Businesses on May 26, 2022. The two organizations have hosted this event for small businesses in the Washington, D.C. area annually since 2017.
Nearly two dozen Sterne Kessler attorneys served 13 small businesses in virtual and in-person capacities by offering intellectual property basics training and one-on-one advising. Each company received guidance based on their specific intellectual property needs, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing. Attendees represented a variety of industries, including food and beverage, fashion, graphic design, mental health counseling, and plumbing.
