Sterne Kessler Attorneys Author Patent Office Litigation Chapter of The Patent Litigation Strategies Handbook Supplement

Six Sterne Kessler Directors authored a chapter of Bloomberg BNA‘s recently published Patent Litigation Strategies Handbook, Third Edition 2014 Cumulative Supplement. The chapter titled, “Patentability Challenges at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,” addresses post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). The 2014 Supplement is the first to include a chapter devoted to proceedings before the PTAB.

Authors Robert Greene Sterne, David K.S. Cornwell, Donald R. Banowit, John M. Covert, Michael D. Specht, and Jason D. Eisenberg provide practical advice for patent practitioners and discuss using post-grant proceedings as alternatives to traditional patent litigation.
