Sterne Kessler Directors Monica Riva Talley and Paul Calvo, Ph.D. Recognized as ‘Top Authors’ by JD Supra

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 19, 2018) – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is proud to announce that firm directors Monica Riva Talley and Paul Calvo, Ph.D. have been recognized as “JD Supra Top Authors” in the online publication’s “2018 Readers’ Choice Awards.” The awards acknowledge individual authors and law firms for excellence in writing and for thought leadership.

Talley, head of Sterne Kessler’s Trademark & Brand Protection Practice, was recognized among the top three authors in the subject area of trademarks. Calvo, a director in the firm’s Biotechnology & Chemical Practice Group, was recognized among the top ten authors in the subject area of patents. Both were recognized for their high level of visibility and engagement in their respective subject areas.

Talley and Calvo serve as editors for two of Sterne Kessler’s regularly published e-newsletters. Talley leads a team of writers for “MarkIt to Market,” which covers developments and trends in trademarks and brand protection. Calvo leads a group of authors for “Global Patent Prosecution” with content geared toward biotech and pharmaceutical companies focused on global patent prosecution strategies.
