Washington, D.C. (April 7, 2022) – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is proud to announce that the firm has raised $21,280 for Project HOPE to provide direct humanitarian support to Ukrainians and refugees in surrounding countries. Project HOPE is currently on the ground responding to the crisis stemming from the Russian invasion of Ukraine and is delivering essential medicines and medical supplies to assist Ukrainians and others affected by the crisis.
Employees across the firm provided financial donations, and Sterne Kessler’s Charitable Committee matched all donations 1:1. The firm’s three-pronged charitable initiative, referred to as “SKGF Cares,” supports a variety of organizations through time and resources donated by individual employees and the firm as a whole. SKGF Cares focus the firm’s efforts on impactful causes in legal, local, and global communities.
For more than 60 years, Project HOPE has transformed the health and well-being of people and communities around the world. They work on the front lines of the world’s health challenges, partnering hand-in-hand with communities, health care workers and public health systems to ensure sustainable change. Project HOPE works in five main areas: disasters and health crises; infectious diseases; noncommunicable diseases; maternal, neonatal and child health; and health policy. In disaster, crisis and beyond, HOPE is there: providing direct health care services, equipping clinics and hospitals, training local health care workers, and delivering solutions that help people access the health care services they need.
