Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox Ranked Among Leading Firms in Law360’s 2021 Diversity Snapshot

Washington, D.C. (August 26, 2021) – Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is proud to announce the firm’s inclusion in Law360’s 2021 Diversity Snapshot rankings. Among the 79 firms in the “101 to 250 attorneys” size category, Sterne Kessler ranked in the top ten for overall diversity and is among the top five for minority representation among equity partners.

In addition to presenting data on the 276 participating firms’ proportion of minority attorneys and proportion of minority equity partners, the 2021 report also includes a “pipeline score.” The editors note that this new assessment evaluates “how firms’ unique headcounts would have to break down by race and ethnicity to align with the potential marketplace of hires.” To determine this score, Law360 created benchmarks using data from the American Bar Association and firms’ headcounts; each firm’s score represents its percentage points above or below the set of benchmarks. Sterne Kessler exceeded the benchmarks with a score of +3.6, placing it among the 17.3% of all participating firms to do so.
