Sterne Kessler Secures PTAB Win on Behalf of Client RoboticVISIONTech

Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox secured denial of an inter partes review petition at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) on behalf of the patent owner RoboticVISIONTech, Inc. (RVT). RVT is a leading provider of 3D vision guided robotics software. The challenged patent, U.S. Patent No. 8,095,237, describes techniques for accurate three-dimensional object location and guidance to allow robotic manipulation of an object, regardless of the object’s position and orientation, using only standard video equipment.
