The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s patent trial board found Friday that Amkor Technology Inc. hadn’t shown 14 claims in a Tessera Inc. patent related to semiconductor chips to be unpatentable, shortly after a California state court confirmed a $128.3 million judgment for Tessera in a separate case.
