“Weber Inc. convinced a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office tribunal to review two patents for a high speed food slicer that are part of its fight with Provisur Technologies Inc., a rival food processor equipment maker.

The Patent Trial and Appeal Board, in decisions made public Monday, agreed to institute review of Provisur’s U.S. Patent Nos. 10,625,436 and 10,639,812. Weber argues the patents’ claims are invalid because they would have been obvious.”
