“Daniel Block and Chandrika Vira of Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox have stepped in as defense counsel to Block Inc., the fintech business formerly known as Square, in a pending patent infringement lawsuit. The suit was filed May 3 in New York Southern District Court by the Law Office of David J. Hoffman on behalf of EscapeX IP LLC. The case has been assigned to U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman.”
