Overview
Adam Donovan is the chief marketing officer for Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox. He is responsible for team leadership in the design, development, and implementation of the firm’s business development, client relations, and marketing strategies. Adam works closely with firm management, practice group leaders, and individual directors to strategically expand the firm’s client base, increase the size and scope of the firm’s existing client relationships, and expand the firm’s visibility and market presence.
Prior to joining Sterne Kessler, Adam was the director of business development for Fish & Richardson P.C. where he worked for 13 years. During his tenure, his role expanded from being the sole marketing and business development staff member for the firm’s patent prosecution practice to managing a firmwide team of 10 business development and client relations professionals. Initiatives under Adam’s leadership yielded the origination of new clients, generating significant revenue growth and visibility for the firm in the US and abroad. Adam tackled process redesign as a central aspect of managing programs under his purview, including streamlining the firm’s internal business development and marketing operations.
Prior to his 15-year career in legal marketing and business development in the intellectual property space, Adam worked for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in several proposal management and sales support roles.
After schooling in England, Wales, and Washington, D.C., Adam earned a dual major B.B.A. in International Business and Marketing at The George Washington University.
