Overview

Evan Linderman is an Associate in Sterne Kessler’s Mechanical & Design Group. His practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, strategic counseling, and portfolio management.

Evan has experience working with both large and small clients across various fields including medical devices, dental products, automotive, financial services, and building automation technologies. Evan also has experience with consumer products such as footwear, apparel, augmented reality and virtual reality systems, and wearable devices.

Before his legal career, Evan was an IP Manager for a large medical device company. His IP management experience includes monitoring competitive IP landscapes and providing strategic guidance, identifying strategic areas for future IP filings, evaluating outside opportunities, facilitating the administrative IP process, and working with product development teams to evaluate and file invention records.

Evan’s engineering experience includes leading R&D teams for over a decade to design and launch new products in the medical device sector. His efforts led to innovative advancements in both the minimally invasive spine surgery and soft tissue biopsy markets. Evan’s inventions have resulted in over 30 granted US patents.
