Overview
Katrina Braden Wilkins, director of prosecution support services for Sterne Kessler, is an experienced IP administrator specializing in best practices, workflow management, and administrative and docketing support. Katrina and her highly skilled team provide a wide range of practice support covering various prosecution related functions – including specialized legal assistant support, new matter intake, all aspects of docketing and transfers-in/out, and annuity and maintenance payments. She is a committed leader focused on providing the highest level of quality and support to firm members and clients by ensuring the firm has streamlined and effective processes and systems in place for intake, correspondence (incoming and filings) workflow, and docketing. Since joining the firm in 2005, Katrina has been involved with several critical firmwide initiatives such as docketing system conversions, implementing a new conflicts and new matter intake system, and working with the team that created the firm’s award winning Mobile Docketing tool.
Katrina is an active member of several professional organizations including the International Practice Management Association, the Project Management Institute, the National Capital Area Paralegal Association, and the National Docketing Association. She has been a panelist on docketing topics for IP management user groups and has been a member of the membership and planning committees for a U.S. PCT Roundtable group for more than a decade.
Prior to her current position Katrina managed the firm’s foreign filing department. She also held key positions within the foreign filing departments of other large law firms prior to joining Sterne Kessler.
Katrina completed her BBA at Strayer University and obtained her MBA at Longwood University and a Masters of Art in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
