Jacquelyn “Jackie” A. Pariseau is a law clerk in Sterne Kessler’s Biotechnology & Chemical Practice Group. She joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2023 and returned as a law clerk during her third year of law school. During her tenure at Sterne Kessler, she has assisted on preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications and assists with patentability, non-infringement, invalidity, and freedom-to-operate analyses. Her technical areas of expertise are cellular and molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology, therapeutic antibodies, and gene therapies.
Jacquelyn graduated from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law where she obtained her J.D. and Intellectual Property Certificate. While in law school, she was a student attorney in the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic where she assisted clients with various intellectual property matters and business development. Jacquelyn also competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court competition, where she was awarded Best Oral Argument.
Prior to law school, Jacquelyn earned a B.S. in biology and a B.S. in finance and completed a minor in biotechnology. During undergrad, Jacquelyn completed research for the Department of Defense at the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center in the field of biochemical warfare. She also completed finance internships with Nestlé, Gorton’s, and other major consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.
