James (Jamie) P. Hanly is a law clerk in Sterne Kessler’s Trademark & Brand Protection Practice.
Jamie assists with all aspects of trademark enforcement, including online take downs, Customs recordation, demand letters, and UDRP proceedings. Jamie also works with clients on domestic and foreign trademark clearance, prosecution, and portfolio management.
Jamie graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law. While at Richmond, Jamie was a student associate at a law firm where he assisted in trademark enforcement matters for clients in a variety of industries. As part of that role, he also did research for a monthly legal column that discussed current topics within intellectual property. Jamie received his B.A. cum laude in political science from Winona State University.
